Why the names are hidden
Because you would not be judging the answer. Everybody has an opinion about these companies before they read a word, and a name at the top of a paragraph is worth more than the paragraph.
The hiding is real rather than cosmetic: which model wrote which answer is never sent to your browser until you have chosen. You could open the developer tools and look, and there would be nothing there.
Who gets your question
Worked out from what is actually switched on right now, not from a sentence somebody wrote once. If that list changes while this page is open, your next round is refused rather than sent.
What a round settles
Very little, and we would rather say so here than in small print at the bottom. One question, asked once, judged by one person, tells you about that question and that afternoon.
It is still worth doing, because the thing it teaches is about you rather than about them: which writing you find convincing, and whether that tracks anything real. That is the habit worth having.
