Check it before you teach it
Accuracy, age-appropriateness and the curriculum.
Children's explanations must be simple, which tempts models into being simply wrong. Check the key fact against the school's material, a textbook or a trusted educational source before you pass it on.
Check the tone too. Some topics need care, and a model's idea of age-appropriate may not match yours. You know your child.
If the school teaches a method, use that method. A different way of doing long division is not helpful the night before a test.
- Simple is not the same as right.
- You know what is age-appropriate.
- Use the school's method.

BEEP / THE MYTH-BUSTER
I have confidently taught children things that were wrong, in lovely clear sentences, with excellent punctuation. Please check me before you pass it on.

Take one claim from an AI explanation and hold it against the school’s material. Note whether the method matched, not just the answer.
