What a recruiter actually reads
Why clarity beats keywords, and what AI can and cannot know about you.
A recruiter spends seconds on a first read. They look for what you did, what changed because of it, and whether it matches the role. Long lists of skills and buzzwords slow that down.
AI is good at tightening sentences and spotting jargon. It cannot know what you actually did. So anything it adds that you did not tell it is invented, however plausible it sounds.
The tool's job in this course is to help you say true things more clearly. Your job is to make sure every word survives a follow-up question in an interview.
- Action, result, relevance.
- AI tightens; it does not know your history.
- Every claim must survive a follow-up question.
PIXEL / THE COACH
A recruiter gives your CV about the attention you give a menu you have already decided about. Clear beats clever, every single time.
Try it
Write down one thing you did well at work, in your own clumsy words. Nobody is marking the prose. Take out client, colleague and employer names before the next lesson.
Progress is saved on this device.
